Diabetes blood sugar levelFor diabetics, it is important to monitor your diabetes blood sugar level on a regular basis. A local GP will be able to determine how often it should be checked and at what time of day. Many people start by checking their diabetes blood sugar level twice a day: before breakfast and before supper. After a few weeks, this can often be reduced to only 2 or 3 times a week. To test your diabetes blood sugar level, you will need a glucose meter, alcohol pads, plus sterile finger lancets and test strips. It’s recommended that before each test, hands are thoroughly washed and dried. The alcohol pad is used to clean the area that you're going to prick. With many glucose meters, you get a drop of blood from your fingertip. However, with some meters, you can also use your forearm, thigh or the fleshy part of your hand. Again advise should be sought from the doctor as to what area you should use with your meter. You need to prick yourself with the sterile lancet to get a drop of blood and place it on the test strip. Then follow the instructions for inserting the test strip into the glucose meter. The meter will give you a number for your diabetes blood sugar level. There are two blood tests that can help you manage your diabetes. One of these tests is called an A1c test, which reflects your diabetes blood sugar level (or glucose) control over the past 3 months. The other is called SMBG, or self-monitoring of blood glucose. Testing your A1c level every 3 months is the best way for you and your doctor to understand how well your diabetes blood sugar level is controlled. Using a blood glucose monitor to do SMBG testing can also help you improve control of your diabetes blood sugar level. Every person with diabetes should have a blood glucose monitor and know how to use it to test their diabetes blood sugar level. To assist with your diabetes blood sugar level, there is currently a solution on the market called Diabeticine™ , which if clinical studies are to be believed, is 99% effective for Type 2 and 64% effective for Type 1 at reversing the root cause of diabetes. Diabeticine™ contains no chemically generated compounds, fillers, or artificial additives and unlike pharmaceutical drugs, does not require a prescription and has no known negative side effects. In tests it showed a significant reduction of the diabetes blood sugar level and improved production of insulin. With no negative feedback, as a diabetic it would seem you have nothing to lose but everything to gain. | How to control diabetes
